Three Years of Obsession

You know how most kids watch a movie twelve times a day for like maybe a month and then forget about it? Josh does that too, but his devotion to one movie in particular can be tracked back at least three years.

He sang the songs when he was three, he watches both versions fairly regularly, and every day for the past week or two his first action upon coming home from school has been to mock up a "Golden Tickit," and come running with it to me in the kitchen. "Mommy, I found the last Golden Tickit! It's mine!"

The highlight of his school year, I think, has been his chance to go see the staged production by the nearby middle school kids.
