Moving News!

1) Looks like our official moving date is Dec. 6th, if it's humanly possible for us to pull that off. Har, har.

2) Matt's current job wants him to stay with the company and work remotely through the end of January, and that is a HUGE load off for him. What a blessing! In the meantime, though, he has 8 companies out in TX interested in him (as an employee!). The telecommuting just gives him a couple of months to really sift through and pick just the right one instead of hurrying into a possible mistake.

3) U-Haul actually attempted to get my business by suggesting that the moving company I chose was populated by thugs and ex-cons. Actually, not my company specifically, just all moving companies. "Have you ever been to a parole office?" were his exact words. Charming.

4) I hate hate HATE the Santa Ana winds, and will not miss the stupid buggers at ALL.
