We came home early from our family trip to San Antonio. It was fun, but we discovered that San Antonio is more of a Weekend Getaway than a Week O' Summer Fun type of place. But the boys loved the Riverwalk and Sea World and all that jazz. I expect it won't be too long before Matt has new photos up somewheres or ruther.

For the record, every single one of you needs to visit Texas Hill Country some spring and stay in some sort of hicksville B&B and eat at The Salt Lick in Driftwood. Hill Country is to Texas as Wine Country is to CA - just crazy beautiful. Low rolling hills and a bazillion trees and wildflowers. The main difference being that we have barbecue joints instead of wineries. Yeeeaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I loves me some Texas.

And our Capitol building kicks the CA Capitol square in the tushie! WOOT!
